Day 1 – Tirana → Shala River → Valbona Valley

Your adventure begins with a private transfer from Tirana to Koman. From here, enjoy an exciting speedboat ride across Komani Lake to the famous Shala River, known for its turquoise waters and untouched wilderness. Return by boat to 5 Stinët Restaurant for a traditional fish lunch menu, featuring fresh lake fish prepared in local style. Continue by speedboat to Fierza, followed by a private transfer into Valbona Valley National Park, one of the most beautiful alpine valleys in Europe. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing forest walk along the Valbona River, from Dragobia to Valbona village, surrounded by towering limestone peaks and pristine nature. In the evening, experience a traditional mountain dinner with maze-based dishes and homemade fli, cooked slowly over fire and served with local yogurt and honey. Dinner and overnight in a comfortable mountain hotel in Valbona.

Day 2 – Dobërdol High-Alpine Off-Road Expedition

After breakfast, embark on a full-day 4x4 off-road adventure into the high mountains of the Albanian Alps. Drive through remote alpine terrain to Dobërdol, one of the most scenic highland areas in the region. From here, enjoy a walk to the Three Borders Point, where Albania, Kosovo, and Montenegro meet. Continue your journey with a spectacular off-road descent via the remote Sylbica Valley, with breathtaking mountain landscapes, shepherd huts, and alpine pastures. During the day, visit a local shepherd family, where you will enjoy traditional mountain coffee and herbal mountain tea, and taste a homemade blueberry cake prepared with wild alpine berries. Dinner and overnight in the same hotel in Valbona.

Day 3 – Valbona to Theth Trek (The Legendary Albanian Alps Trail)

Today you hike the iconic Valbona to Theth trail, the most famous trekking route in the Albanian Alps, offering panoramic views over rugged peaks and alpine meadows. For strong hikers, an alternative wild and remote route via Zhaborre Pass and Denellit Field can be chosen for a more adventurous and less-traveled experience. Arrival in the traditional village of Theth in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in a mountain hotel in Theth.

Day 4 – Theth Nature & Shkodra Sunset

After breakfast, a short drive brings you to Nderlysaj, followed by a scenic 35-minute walk to the Blue Eye, one of Albania’s most beautiful natural springs. Continue to visit the Theth Waterfall, Theth Canyon, Blood Tower, and the iconic Theth Church, combining spectacular nature and local history. After lunch, enjoy a private transfer to Shkodra, the cultural capital of northern Albania. Stop for coffee in the lively pedestrian Piaca, then visit Rozafa Castle to enjoy a spectacular sunset over Shkodra Lake and the surrounding plains. In the evening, enjoy a traditional oven-baked carp dinner, one of Shkodra’s most famous regional dishes. Live traditional music! Dinner and overnight in Shkodra.

Day 5 – Shkodra Lake Paddling & Return to Tirana

After breakfast, transfer to Shkodra Lake for a relaxing paddling experience on Albania’s largest lake, surrounded by birds, lilies and wetlands. Enjoy lunch at a local fish restaurant, then return by private transfer to Tirana, where the tour ends.
